Effective: October 2026Last Updated: October 2026
1. Regulatory Status & Scope of Operation

StudyPower operates solely as a digital loan facilitation intermediary and Direct Selling Agent (DSA). In accordance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Guidelines on Digital Lending, StudyPower acts as a Lending Service Provider (LSP) engaged in sourcing prospective loan applicants. StudyPower is NOT a bank, non-banking financial company (NBFC), or deposit-taking institution. StudyPower does not: • Issue loans or disburse funds from its own balance sheet; • Carry out independent credit underwriting or guarantee loan approvals; • Establish annual percentage rates (APR), interest rate structures, repayment tenures, or processing fees; • Issue the final Key Fact Statement (KFS) or legally binding Loan Agreement.

2. Credit Decision Authority & No Approval Warranty

Loan eligibility appraisal, risk evaluation, collateral valuation, credit bureau checks, sanction amounts, interest rates, and disbursement tranches are determined solely by the respective RBI-regulated lending partner evaluating your file (such as HDFC Credila, Avanse, InCred, Auxilo, or State Bank of India). StudyPower's pre-qualification estimates, EMI calculators, and portal eligibility indicators are indicative and based on preliminary criteria. They do NOT constitute a formal loan offer, sanction letter, or guarantee of credit approval.

3. Key Fact Statement (KFS) and Loan Terms

In compliance with RBI directives, every borrower is entitled to receive an official Key Fact Statement (KFS) directly from the sanctioning lender before executing a loan agreement. The KFS contains critical financing terms:

Sanctioned loan amount and schedule of disbursement tranches.
Annual Percentage Rate (APR) and complete breakdown of interest charges.
Upfront processing fees, administrative costs, and third-party valuation charges.
Penal charges, foreclosure terms, and overall loan repayment tenure.
Borrowers must review the lender's KFS and Loan Agreement carefully before accepting financing.
4. Fee Policy & Fraud Prevention Advisory

StudyPower does not demand or collect any cash or upfront facilitation fee from students or parents for uploading documents or submitting loan inquiries on the portal. Beware of Impersonation & Fraud: • StudyPower representatives will NEVER request cash payments, personal UPI transfers, or deposits into personal individual accounts. • All statutory fees (such as lender processing fees, valuation charges, or stamp duty) are payable directly to the lending institution or deducted from loan proceeds as disclosed in the lender's sanction letter. • If any individual claiming to represent StudyPower demands cash or personal transfers, refuse payment and notify us immediately at +91 9660 69 79 89 or info@studypower.in.

5. Third-Party Trademarks & Lender Display

Product names, logos, and trademarks of banks and financial institutions displayed on the StudyPower platform are the property of their respective owners. Their display does not imply exclusive affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement.
